About Yoga
Gentle Flow Yoga will connect you to your body and your breath.
We put will put emphasis on asanas allowing our body to recharge and reenergize. Our focus will be on precise alignment helping us to understand each asana better and learning how to assess our body to delve deeper into asanas. Special focus will be on overextended arms and legs, which many people including myself have, and is often connected to over flexibility in asanas. Learning how to build muscles instead of relying on natural flexibility helps you to understand asanas differently and build strength. We will also learn how to connect to our breath, so we can relieve stress and keep our mind quiet.
It is important to me to design yoga sessions that fit my yogis individually. Working with a smaller group of yogis we can take a closer look at the way we practice. I wish to support you on your yogic journey and encourage you to build or re-build a solid base for your practice. Learning how to develop your awareness to connect to your body and your breath, focusing on your alignment and engaging your muscles, or allowing yourself to rest whenever needed.
„The quiet mind becomes the marvellous dynamism of the universe, and just like trees expressing themselves in each season, we become who we truly are, and we are home,“ says Michael Stone. It is important to me to practice yoga respecting ahimsa, “non-harming” attitude towards yourself, and practising with curiosity and joy.
“Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life”.
B.K.S. Iyengar
