About Yoga
Restorative YOGA & Pranayama connect you to your body and your breath in a gentle way.
In Restorative yoga we put emphasis on asanas allowing our body to recharge and reenergize.
Our focus is on precise alignment helping us to understand each asana better and learning how to assess our body to delve deeper into the asanas.
Special focus is on overextended arms and legs, which many people including myself have, and is often connected to over flexibility in asanas.
Learning how to build muscles instead of relying on natural flexibility helps you to understand asanas differently and build strength.
Pranayama is a wonderful way to connect to your breathing and to deepest parts of your being. Different breathing techniques help you to calm your mind and reduce stress.
In Restorative yoga & Pranayama we learn how to observe our body while practising asanas and pranayama.
We practice yoga respecting ahimsa, “non-harming” attitude towards yourself, and santosha, doing yoga with satisfaction.
You can join us for restorative yoga and pranayama in Tagtigall in Berlin Neukölln.
“Yoga is like music:
the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life”.
